How many calendars do I need?

TimeCenter automatically chooses the right plan for you as you create new calendars.

Every staff member or resource that can be scheduled need one calendar each. Every calendar can contain an unlimited number of services or events. Here are a few examples:

TimeCenter One - 1 calendar
Jasmine is a massage therapist. She works alone in her practice and has 5 different types of massages. She only needs one calendar, so TimeCenter One is right for her.

TimeCenter Pro - Up to 10 calendars
Eric, Jim and Sarah coach business leaders in one-on-one sessions. Once every month, they also host an event for about 50 people. They need 1 calendar each, and then 1 calendar for the event.
This makes 4 calendars, so they will need TimeCenter Pro with up to 10 calendars.

TimeCenter Premium - Up to 50 calendars
Jenny runs a beauty salon. They have 10 hairdressers, 5 nail therapists, 5 stylists and 3 tanning beds. That's 23 calendars.

The salon also hosts an event about health and beauty. This event needs one calendar for the event registration. So in total, Jenny needs 24 calendars so TimeCenter Premium with up to 50 calendars calendars is her choice. This way she can also add more staff and add more calendars for free.





How can I seem more popular?

It's only natural that your calendar seems a bit empty when you start accepting appointments online.

We'll let you in on a little secret. Blocked time slots look exactly like booked appointments when your clients look at your calendar. Great isn't it? Here is how to get instant popularity and become a famous movie star in seconds:

Services
The trick is to block out time slots. You can do this by clicking on the Block time slot icon in the time slot.

Events
If you schedule events, create a client with your name, and make appointments yourself.

This way, you can seem popular on day one! Don't forget to unblock or cancel your own appointments as you see clients pouring in. Fake it until you make it!





Are there any startup fees?

No. We don't think it's right with startup fees. We don’t charge signup fees, termination fees, or any additional fees.

You only pay a fixed monthly fee based on the plan you've chosen. And you can choose to buy SMS text messages if you need them for client reminders or staff alerts.





How do I get my BOOK NOW button and link to my booking page?

Create your online scheduler and visit this page again when you are signed in. You'll get everything you've ever dreamed about. And a button of course.






Do I have to install any software on my computer?

No, you only need access to a computer with an internet connection. You can manage your appointments at work, at home or from a tropical island!





How do I create or change services?

1) Go to Settings > Calendars

2) Click on your calendar name

3) Click on the tab Services

For the quick bunny:
You can access the services even faster by clicking on Edit schedule in the top right corner when you are viewing your calendar. Then click on the tab Services.





I can't see my schedule - What should I do?

Good news! It's really easy to get it back. You have just forgotten to repeat your schedule. Here's how to make your calendar fly again.

1) Go to Settings > Calendars and click on your calendar

2) Click on the Schedule tab

3) Now click on a date you would like to start accepting appointments and add your business hours

A great tip is to Repeat your schedule long time ahead. It saves you time and is easy to do.

To access your schedule faster next time, you can click on Edit schedule in the top right corner when you are viewing your Calendar.





How do I setup different locations?

Include both the staff member's name and the location in the calendar name. This will be included in appointment confirmations and reminders, so it's a great way to inform your clients which address they should go to. You will need at least TimeCenter Pro (our plan with up to 10 calendars) to add locations.

Here is an example of two calendar names:
Lois Lane, 9500 Planet Boulevard, Metropolis
Clark Kent, 344 Clinton St., Metropolis

You can even include your phone number. Go to Settings > Calendars and edit the name of the calendars.

You should remove the main address that is shown on your about page. Go to Account > Business details and remove your address. This way, only the location included in the calendar name will be shown to your clients.





How do I create an event where multiple people can register?

1) Go to Settings > Calendars and click on Add calendar

2) Name your calendar and select the staff member responsible

3) Check the box Event registration and click on Save

4) Go to the Schedule tab and enter your events.

Event registration calendars are great for yoga classes or other activities where a lot of people meet. You can set both number of spaces available, and how many spaces one client can book.





How do I sync iPhone with my calendar?

How fun that you have an iPhone! The sync actually works amazingly well, and it's really simple to setup. Here's how:

1) Sign in to your TimeCenter account using your iPhone

2) Go to Settings > Sync

3) Check the box of the calendar you want to sync

4) Click Save

5) Click on the webcal link

Great! Your iPhone is now synced with your TimeCenter calendar.





How do I sync Google Calendar with my calendar?

1) Go to Settings > Sync

2) Check the boxes of the calendars you want to sync

3) Click Save to create your webcal link

4) Right-click on the webcal link and choose Copy link

5) Go to Google Calendar

6) At the bottom left side, find the section called Other calendars

7) Click on Add and select Add by URL

8) Paste the webcal link and click on Add Calendar

Your TimeCenter calendar will soon appear under Other Calendars.

Remember:
Google has decided that synced calendars will be updated only every 4 hours. This means that new appointments and cancellations won't be visible instantly.





How do I sync Outlook with my calendar?

1) Go to Settings > Sync

2) Check the box of the calendar you want to sync

3) Click Save to create your webcal link

4) Click on the webcal link

5) Outlook will now open, click OK

Your TimeCenter calendar will now appear under My Calendars in the left menu in Outlook.

Please note that only Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 support synchronization.





I can't sign in, what should I do?

1) Go to Sign in

2) Click on Forgot password

3) Enter your email and click Continue

4) Check your email for information on how to reset your password

How can I close my account?

Your account will be automatically closed when it expires. You will not be charged anything. If you want to close it earlier, please contact us. You are welcome back anytime. Just sign up for a new account.





How do I change my e-mail or password?

1) Sign in to your account

2) Go to Settings > Staff

3) Click on your name

4) Enter your new email or reset your password

5) Click on Save





Can my time slots start every 15 minutes or half hour?

You can give your clients more freedom in their choice of time. But this also creates a bit messier calendar, and you will be unable to get fully booked all day.

By default, time slots depend on the length of your service. So for example a service that is 60 minutes will show time slots at 8.00am, 9.00am, 10.00am etc. But with Step time that service can have time slots starting at 8.00am, 8.15am, 8.30am, etc.

You can change how often an appointment can starts by going to Settings > Customize and select Step time. You can choose between 15 and 30 minutes.





How do I include a message in the appointment confirmation?

You can add information to your confirmations and reminders by going to Settings > Reservation policies





I want a new feature. Can you do it?

We'd love to hear your ideas! But since we want to keep TimeCenter simple and beautiful, we only go for the killer features. And only include those that are most requested.

How do I get alerts when I get new bookings?

1) Go to Settings > Reminders & alerts

2) Find your calendar under Alerts to staff

3) Check the box for E-mail or Text message (SMS) alerts

You will get an alert every time a client makes an appointment, cancels, or reschedules.

Remember
You will not get an alert when you or a staff member makes an appointment, cancels, or reschedules.





Can I add my logotype?

Sure, you can brand your booking page with your logo and company colors. Instead of the blue background and white text, we will display your own banner on the top of your booking page.

Your banner should be be 972 pixels wide and 79 pixels high. Please save it in GIF or JPG format. If you can't create the banner yourself then we'll be happy to assist you.

Send your logo or the finished banner to and we will add it to your page.





How do I change my company info?

Go to: Account > Business details to change the name of your company, your address and other contact details.

Here you can also enter a nice presentation of your company, that will be displayed to your clients on your booking page.





Do you have phone support?

In our experience email is the most efficient means of providing support. Email conversations have a lot of benefits that fit an online service. For example, you will often get detailed instructions and links to our website that are difficult to give you over the phone.

You will get unlimited support via email, but we do not offer support over the phone. We promise to get back to you within 24 hours on weekdays, but usually we're much quicker. Our support staff is located in Sweden and we only employ qualified and knowledgeable support staff.
